>> Learning about volume and mass with Year 1/2
Year 1/2 are learning all about volume and mass in Maths this term. The boys and girls made their own puppy dog measuring cups, and learned how to measure the volume and mass of different items around the school. What a fun way to engage in Maths!
>> A fraction game with Year 3/4
The Year 3/4 Girls have been busy learning about fractions. They have been playing fraction-based games to test their knowledge and become confident mathematicians.
>> Twister!
Who doesn’t love a game of Twister! Students in the Year 3/4 class have been taking turns to prepare an activity for their peers. One group challenged the class to a game of Twister, what a great idea!
>> Fun in the Prep classroom
After two jam-packed weeks of learning, the Prep students enjoyed an afternoon of play today. They certainly earned it after such a successful start to Term 4.
>> Swimming lessons for Year 1/2 and Year 2-4 Boys
Thank you to Mr Daniel Kelly and our parent volunteers who accompanied the Year 1/2 and Year 2-4 Boys’ classes as they participated in their first swimming lesson for the year. Swimming is such an important life-skill, and we are so excited to offer this activity as part of our Physical Education program this term.
