Our Prep and Year 1 students are taking part in a weekly gardening lesson with thanks to one of our wonderful school Mums.

The Harkaway Hills College Gardening Club has been learning how to cultivate soil and grow their own vegetables over the past few weeks. The students have loved caring for the garden throughout the week, ensuring the plants are well watered and nurtured. What a wonderful way to learn about the cycle of plants and how to care for the earth.

Not only does the Garending Club provide an opportunity for students to understand the science behind gardening, it also helps them understand th hard work that goes behind the production of food.

The garden is looking amazing – well done team!
